I refer to myself as an opportunistic photographer, with a fondness for travel and nature. My work is usually the result of a chance encounter, rather than a pre-planned outcome. Most of my compositions take place outside, often involving water or plant life. I’m always on the lookout for what I call “mystery in the mundane”; commonplace objects or locations where I can use artistic techniques to create new perspectives and different views. Recently, I’ve been increasing my exploration of abstract interpretations of nature, employing techniques such as intentional camera movement and multiple exposures.

I am a juried member of both the Ontario Society of Artists (Canada’s longest continuous running art society) and the Society of Canadian Artists. My works can be found in private and corporate collections in Canada and the US.
