Cheryl‘s art focuses on colour and texture. She uses colour to express emotion and evoke interest in her work. Throughout her career in education, Cheryl experimented with different crafts. Cheryl comes from a creative family who work with a variety of media.
After retiring, Cheryl began formal art lessons. She spent several years working with glass creating leaded and fused glass panels, stained glass lamps, artifacts, and fused glass art and jewelry. More recently Cheryl has turned her focus to acrylic and mixed media painting. She continues to explore various methods and styles as she evolves, creating an eclectic rather than thematic portfolio. She enjoys painting abstracts, fanciful flowers, and cheerful paintings for kids of all ages.
